Welcome to the FACE Foundation Blog!

This is the inaugural post of the FACE Foundation blog!  Our blog will feature content found on our website, Facebook page, Twitter account, and monthly newsletters, in addition to postings unique to the blog itself.

In case you are unfamiliar with the FACE Foundation, here’s an overview:

In 2006, the Foundation for Animal Care and Education was created to promote and provide safe, healthy lives for animals in San Diego County, where FACE is the first organization of its kind.  We, at FACE, secure and disperse financial assistance for emergency medical care and necessary education for the benefit of animals.  FACE is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 public charity that relies on the donations of animal lovers and community members alike for funding.  Given the recent economic challenges in the United States, a strikingly large amount of families cannot afford unexpected medical care and procedures for their pets, which has resulted in an increase in euthanasia.  With the invaluable help of its sponsors and donors, FACE Foundation saves lives and provides hope to families who fear the loss of their beloved pets.
