Sweet “VV” was suffering quite a bit when her owners reached out to FACE, desperate for assistance to save her life. VV was 9 years old and had never been spayed. She developed Pyometra and her infected uterus needed to be removed that same day or she would pass away. VV’s mom worked as a mortgage writer for years but had just gone on disability because she had shoulder surgery scheduled within the next month. She could not afford VV’s treatment on top of her medical bills with her new fixed income. She already had her 2 daughters to think about. The hospital told her about FACE and she finally saw a glimmer of hope. The FACE Foundation was able to pay for the surgery and VV’s life was saved!
