Toothless

Meet “Toothless” and his little buddy! Toothless was only a year old when he was attacked by a dog and his eye was severely damaged to the point that it needed to be removed completely. His family was devastated. Toothless’ “mom” was a single parent with 3 children and also supported her teenage sister. She worked a full-time job but relied on assistance to make ends meet. She instantly knew she could not afford this surgery and was heartbroken to think she might lose one of her babies. Luckily, Save-A-Life partner Shadowridge Veterinary Hospital gave her hope and encouraged her to contact the FACE Foundation. FACE was able to approve Toothless for funding and he went right into surgery to remove his eye and save his life!
