Teddy

Teddy is an 8-year-old spaniel-mix who has been with his family since he was a puppy. One day, in a bout of excitement, he ran into the street to greet his owners and was unexpectedly hit by a car. Teddy suffered multiple fractures and was in need of two surgeries in order to survive. His parents were devastated, having just started to get back on their feet after family tragedy. Thankfully, Teddy was receiving care at FACE partner hospital, California Veterinary Specialists, and the helpful staff there informed them about FACE. Teddy’s family applied and through FACE’s network of supporters, Teddy was able to receive his life-saving surgeries. The hospital staff reported that Teddy has safely returned home with his parents, and is noted as being one of their sweetest patients even when in pain.
