Teddy

Meet Teddy, the cuddling loving schnoodle! Teddy was adopted at the El Cajon Animal Shelter as a puppy and has been with his “dad”, Christopher, ever since. Last week, Teddy started acting strange. He seemed to be in pain and his mouth had become swollen. Concerned for the well being of his pet, Christopher took Teddy to Bastet Veterinary Clinic and hoped that it was not something too serious. Christopher had been working for a local casino but was recently laid off due to the COVID-19 health crisis. He had applied for unemployment benefits but has not yet received a response from the State. He was not sure if he would be able to make his mortgage payment this month and certainly could not afford a large medical bill…

Unfortunately, Teddy was not well. He needed emergency dental work to fix some infected and broken teeth. Chris wasn’t aware of the issue, as Teddy seemed to be fine prior to last week. With no funds to pay for the medical care himself, Christopher reached out to FACE for help. Thanks to our generous supporters, Teddy was able to get the care he needed.
