Susie

Meet Susie! Susie is a young mixed breed that had to go to an emergency hospital for dystocia (difficult labor). One of her puppies was deceased and stuck in her pelvic canal, and was unable to pass even with manual assistance. Her owners, a working family of four, could not afford the unexpected cost of the surgery she needed immediately. Between their part-time jobs, school, and a child in the home, they had no extra money to spare for such a heavy cost. Thankfully with the help of FACE she received emergency surgery at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of North County, and was spayed at the same time. We are happy to report Susie recovered from surgery and is doing well at home. In this photo, she is getting some love from Dr. Russell, who attended to her when she first presented.
