Sparky

Meet Sparky! Sparky is a six-year-old pitbull terrier who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor and was in need of radiation therapy. Sparky was fortunate to have a good prognosis as long as he received treatment, but his “dad” had recently lost his job because of COVID’s impact on the business where he worked. Since “mom” only worked part time, they simply could not afford Sparky’s necessary care. After discussing their options with the oncologist, Sparky’s family applied for FACE assistance. Thanks to a Petco Foundation and Blue Buffalo grant, we’re happy to say that Sparky is receiving treatment and doing well.
