Skippy

This scruffy little guy is “Skippy,” and Skippy recently found himself in a painful battle with urinary obstructions due to a stone lodged in his urethra. His “mom” spent thousands of dollars over a couple months to get him hospitalized and treated with fluids. However, the issue kept reoccurring and finally poor Skippy was completely blocked and needed emergency surgery. His pet mom works full time and lives on her own with a nine year old, she had good credit but still would not be able to afford the entirety of the recommended procedure. She would not give up on Skippy and would plunge herself into a mountain of credit card debt if it meant saving his life. Lucky for her, Save A Life partner VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Ctr. was willing to work with FACE so we could provide help with the cost of Skippy’s life-saving operation!
