Selena

This little cutie is Selena, a 4-year-old French bulldog who suddenly lost function of her back legs. Her family rushed her to the veterinarian who suspected that Selena had a spinal cord disease that threatened to leave her paralyzed.

The timing could not have been worse for Selena’s family. Her “mom” was unable to open her small business during California’s Stay at Home Order and her “dad” had been laid off from work due to the pandemic. The family had been struggling to make ends meet and were unable to pay for Selena’s emergency care.

Thankfully, our friends at Veterinary Specialty Hospital- Sorrento Valley referred the family to FACE. Selena was able to get the care she needed and is now recovering at home with her loving family. “This news is the biggest blessing to me. I am beyond words right now, and we are so thankful for working with us during this difficult time.”
