Sammy

Sweet Sammy, a 10-year-old chihuahua-mix, was out with his mom for a walk one day when a stray dog attacked him. Still in complete shock, Sammy’s mom rushed him to the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center where it was confirmed he would need an eye removed. An eye removal, also called an enucleation, can be extremely painful for pets to endure, so when Sammy was diagnosed his mom did everything in her power to get him the care he needed. That included contacting FACE for help funding a procedure that was outside her means. After reviewing Sammy application for assistance, we were able to approve his surgery! He is comfortably back home with his loving family.
