Ruby

This adorable one-year old Chihuahua-poodle mix is Ruby! It was when Ruby began vomiting and was not interested in eating that her family became worried.  Turns out, Ruby had eaten a bone that she could not digest and lodged at the base of her esophagus. Without immediate surgery to remove it, she would not survive. Ruby’s family barely pay rent so they really could not afford to save Ruby’s life – even though she was their baby. With the help of Save A Life vet partner Mohnacky Animal Hospitals of Escondido and Life Sponsor, Susan Muha, Ruby had her surgery and is back to bringing laughter and smiles to her grateful and loving family.
