FACE Success Story “Paws” is a cuddly boy who suffered from a broken leg and required emergency surgery. His “mom” worked full-time at a job that payed minimum wage so she was not able to afford the vet care that would save his life. She had rescued him from a shelter 6 months prior and in that short time he had stolen her heart. She didn’t want him to suffer but couldn’t fathom having him put to sleep at only 9 months old! Desperate, she reached out to the FACE Foundation for assistance and we teamed up with Save-A-Life partner Veterinary Specialty Hospital to get Paws the surgery he needed.
