Oliver’s family has had a hard year. After losing her husband to a fatal accident, Oliver’s “mom” had to move her family because they couldn’t afford to stay where they were living. It has been hard to make ends meet since the loss of her husband so when Oliver got sick and needed emergency surgery, she turned to FACE for help.

The team at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley diagnosed Oliver with a urethral obstruction, which prevented him from urinating. He had a good prognosis with treatment, but would not have survived if he didn’t get the surgery. Thanks to our faithful supporters and to Life Sponsor Norm & Mary Pattiz, Oliver was able to get the care he needed and his family was spared the pain of losing a beloved family pet.
