Nyx

Meet “Nyx!” This sweet two-year-old kitty loves spending time with his “mom” and human brother. One day, this normally energetic cat was moving slowly and could not urinate on his own, so his worried mom took him to the Pet Emergency & Specialty Center where they saw he had a urinary blockage. Nyx needed an emergency perineal urethrostomy. Without the surgery, his bladder could rupture! As a single parent with no child support, affording emergency surgery just wasn’t doable for Nyx’ mom. She contacted FACE and was very happy that we were able to help get Nyx the lifesaving surgery he needed! Now Nyx gets to enjoy a long and happy life!
