Nico

This sweet six-year-old Labrador is Nico! Rescued from Helen Woodward shelter four years ago, Nico quickly proved to be the perfect family dog. When a sudden accident left him with a fractured leg, his “parents” realized they did not have the funds needed to save their loyal companion.  They were terrified to think how their two young children would react to the news that they may lose their beloved Nico. Luckily, FACE Save-A-Life partner California Veterinary Specialists in Murrieta was willing to work with FACE and helped this family apply for assistance. After no time at all, Nico received approval for an emergency grant from FACE and was rushed into surgery so he could recover and get back to his doting family.
