Muñeca

This doll face is Muñeca! Muñeca loves soaking up all the attention from her family and her admirers when she gets to dress up. Last Fourth of July, she was on edge because of all the fireworks and she tumbled out of a window on the second floor! She needed surgery to repair her legs from the fall or euthanasia would be the most humane option. Muñeca was suffering tremendously as her “mom” frantically searched for a way to come up with the money to pay for her beloved girl’s treatment. She was a home maker for her 2 children and 2 month old son at the time, barely making ends meet with her husband’s minimum-wage job and depending on food stamps. It was already stressful having to pay for the initial exam fee and all the other veterinary expenses. Luckily, FACE was able to grant this family the money they needed to save Muñeca! Because of our donors, this sassy girl continues to strut her stuff and bring lots of joy to her family.
