Meet Success Story King!

Meet “King!” This gorgeous Siberian Husky lives with his “dad” and “mom” and enjoys time at the park. One day, King accidentally swallowed a small toy he found at the park which got stuck in his intestines. He wasn’t able to eat, and was extremely sick. King’s veterinarian, Bonita Pet Care Veterinary Hospital determined he needed an emergency surgery for a foreign body obstruction right away to remove the toy and save his life. His dad is self-employed and his mom is a full-time mom for their young son, so the cost of the surgery just wasn’t doable for them at the time of the emergency. They were referred to FACE, who thankfully was able to approve their application for assistance and help get King the surgery he needed.
