12-year-old Max is a miniature pinscher who was taken to the veterinary hospital after his eye was scratched by a cat. Max’s mom pursued medical management, but his vision could not be regained and it was soon determined that the eye would need to be removed. Sweet Max was in so much pain, but as a single-parent on a fixed income, his mom didn’t have the necessary funds to pay upfront for his care. She worried by the time she saved enough money, it would be too late for precious Max. She applied for FACE assistance and thanks to all our generous donors, were we able to help Max and his family! Max’s mom states he is doing wonderful and they are all so happy to be back home together!
