Lucky L.

As his name implies, this cutie pie is one “Lucky” dog that was saved by the FACE Foundation! It all started when he got out of the house and was tragically hit by a car. He suffered from a broken pelvis and needed surgery right away! Animal control found him before his family did and thus he was under their care. His “parents” wanted him back but they were told they would need to pay for the entire surgery up front to reclaim ownership. Lucky’s “mom” and “dad” lived with his dad’s parents and everyone in the household works but they simply did not have thousands of dollars set aside to afford this kind of unexpected vet care. His family reached out to FACE, not wanting to give up Lucky and have him stuck in the shelter. FACE was able to approve Lucky to get his life-saving surgery and reunited him with his loving family.
