Lady Bug

This sweet nine-year-old pup named “Lady Bug” was in pain, had a fever, and discharge from her mouth. Lady Bug’s “mom” took her to the veterinarian where she was diagnosed with a tooth abscess that was preventing her from being able to eat. Lady Bug’s mom was recently divorced and was just getting her footing during this very stressful time in her life.  She takes care of her 19 year old son who has special needs and he and Lady Bug are constant companions. As an independent business strategist, she lives paycheck to paycheck. Affording a sudden procedure to alleviate Lady Bug’s pain wasn’t doable at this time. Fortunately, she was referred to FACE and we were able to provide financial assistance to Lady Bug and her family thanks to Grey Muzzle Organization’s support!

Lady Bug was able to receive the care she needed and is now back at home, and eating well, with her loving family.
