Karma Cat

Karma

This blue-eyed beauty is Karma! She was adopted from the shelter as a kitten 3 years ago and has been with her “dad”, William, ever since. William became concerned when he noticed Karma had mouth pains. He took her to Banfield Pet Hospital, Murphy Canyon where the veterinarian discovered she had two abscessed teeth causing extreme pain and infection. William was in between jobs after having been laid off due to COVID and could not afford the cost of Karma’s needed surgery. FACE was able to approve Karma through our Save-a-Life Program so she could get her critical care! Special thanks to Life Sponsor Antik Kraft for their support and helping to save Karma.

February is National Pet Dental Health Month! Dental health is an important part of your pet’s overall health. Pet’s teeth and gums should be checked yearly by a veterinarian to detect early signs of problems and maintain long term health.
