FACE Success Story “Hank” was not even two years old when he was viciously attacked by a coyote. He survived the encounter but he suffered from many cuts and gashed on his body that needed immediate attention. Without the recommended treatments, Hank was at high risk of passing away from infection. Hank’s family consisted of 3 children and 2 working parents. However, the cost of exams and x-rays set the family back hundreds of dollars already and they could not afford the amount the hospital was asking for to move forward with treatment. Devastated at the thought of losing Hank because of financial hardship, the family was referred to FACE and we were able to approve Hank for funding! Because of the generosity of our donors, this family gets to enjoy many more years with Hank.
