Geronimo

Hidy ho, Geronimo! The cute cat is a rowdy boy, but Geronimo’s ‘parents’ began to notice a decrease in appetite and energy, and strange, heavy breathing from their fur-baby. After going to multiple veterinarians to try to sort out what was wrong with him, he was finally diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia. Without treatment, this condition would have caused Geronimo’s stomach to travel into his diaphragm and surround his lungs. His owners, who worked multiple jobs and were recently laid off from another, were heartbroken when they realized they could not afford the complicated surgery that Geronimo needed. Thankfully, they reached out to FACE who was able to fund for Geronimo’s surgery.
