Geronimo M.

Meet Geronimo! For a few weeks, Geronimo’s “parents” had noticed a decrease in appetite and energy, and some strange heavy breathing from their fur-baby. After going to multiple veterinarians to try to sort out what was wrong with him, he was finally diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia. Without treatment, this condition would have caused Geronimo’s stomach to travel into his diaphragm and surround his lungs. His owners, a recently unemployed couple, were heartbroken when they realized they could not afford the complicated surgery that Geronimo needed. Thankfully, they reached out to FACE who with the help of Veterinary Specialty Hospital was able to fund for Geronimo’s surgery. Special thanks to FACE Life Sponsor the ASPCA for helping to save Geronimo.
