Meet Fedor! This pup has a real love of the outdoors and loves going on adventures with his human! One day when he was outside playing ball, Fedor broke his leg. Upon his visit to the vet they also discovered that he had developed osteosarcoma. Fedor’s owner was devastated – this dog is his baby! All the money he had in savings and everything he could borrow from friends was not enough to fund Fedor’s treatment. Fortunately, FACE was able to help with the surgery needed to amputate Fedor’s badly broken leg, and with the help of the Petco Foundation and Blue Buffalo Fedor also received assistance for his ongoing treatments to fight cancer! We’re happy to report that Fedor is doing great and although he lost a leg, he won his fight against cancer and is back to enjoying all the adventures that life entails.
