Evie

When Evie, a normally energetic and playful puppy suddenly became lethargic and unable to eat, her family knew something was wrong. At Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Carlsbad, xrays confirmed that Evie had ingested a foreign body which would require emergency surgery to remove. Evie’s mom immediately started reaching out to friends and family and attempting to fundraise online, but Evie only had a small window of time to receive her surgery before prognosis could turn poor. Evie’s mom reached out to FACE for any help saving her sweet puppy. Thanks to this network, Evie was able to receive her life-saving surgery and has happily returned to her energetic puppy self.
