Emma
Emma was rescued by her dad 10 years ago when he found her roaming the streets as a stray. At the time, Emma’s dad wasn’t fully educated on the importance of spay/neuter and believed Emma was a healthy happy dog. Unfortunately earlier this year, Emma’s mass diagnosed with a mammary mass. Emma’s dad worked hard to raise funds for Emma’s veterinary visit, but due to being unemployed and only receiving food stamps, he knew the cost of surgery was not a possibility for him. He called FACE and found out about our Cancer Fund supported by the Sidney E. Frank Foundation. Even without access to the internet, Emma’s dad worked hard to get us all necessary application materials in a timely manner. We’re happy to report Emma received her surgery and is comfortably recovering with her dad.
