When DZ’s original owners were unwilling to take responsibility for him, he was adopted by his “dad”, Roy! Roy is an international student at UCSD and has little left over after paying for tuition and basic living expenses. When DZ broke his leg, Roy was not financially prepared to pay for the needed surgery. DZ’s condition was completely treatable… but he was at risk of euthanasia simply because his family could not afford the cost of his medical care. Fortunately, the team at Veterinary Specialty Hospital helped Roy apply to FACE. Thanks to Life Sponsor Missy and Phillip Cameron, we were able to make a pledge so that DZ could the care he needed!
