Sweet eleven-year-old Duke lives on a ranch with his human mom and dad as well as cats, goats, and chickens. While out on his ranch Duke was attacked by a coyote and sustained some very serious injuries. As an integral part of his family, Duke’s mom and dad conducted fundraisers and at that time were able to afford his surgery. When Duke’s wounds became infected and he needed additional treatment, his family could no longer afford the care due to being laid off of their jobs because of COVID-19. Fortunately, Duke’s surgeon referred his family to the FACE Foundation for assistance with his wound care and with the help of The Grey Muzzle Organization, Duke received treatment and he will continue his happy and healthy life on the ranch!
