Meet Dodger! Dodger is a two-year old Chihuahua who needed our help after he darted out the front door one morning, before his mom got his leash on and a car hit him. Dodger’s mom rushed him directly to Veterinary Specialty Hospital, San Marcos, where they diagnosed him with a pelvic fracture. This required a FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) to fix his damaged hip. His mom only works part-time, and didn’t have the funds needed to fix his serious injury. His mom immediately started fundraising, but was unable to come up with the necessary funds. Fortunately, her vet referred her to FACE for assistance. Thanks to our Life Sponsor Veterinary Specialty Hospital, San Marcos as well as a generous discount they provided, we helped Dodger get the necessary surgery needed and reunited these best friends.
