Cuddie

“Cuddie” was a care-free 2 year old pit bull who couldn’t be any sweeter when he ate something he wasn’t supposed to and became very sick. This foreign object was lodged in his intestines and could only be removed through surgery. Without this operation, Cuddie’s young life would come to an abrupt stop from not being able to eat or relieve himself. His “parents” love Cuddie to pieces and were horrified to think they might lose their baby so suddenly. Cuddie’s “mom” was unemployed at the time and was living out of state to care for her sick mother and Cuddie’s “dad” was on a fixed income from Social Security. Needless to say, they could not afford this unexpected expense to save Cuddie’s life. Luckily, Save-A-Life partner University Pet Hospital contacted FACE and told them the situation. With a generous grant from Animal Farm Foundation, everyone teaming up together was enough to save sweet Cuddie!
