9-month-old Cricket is the center of her adoring family! Her family had been intending to get her spayed, but put the procedure off when a family member suffered a traumatic brain injury. It was during that period that Cricket was diagnosed with pyometra, an emergency condition requiring immediate treatment. With all the stress and medical bills from their family member’s care, Cricket’s owners did not have the funds to pay for Cricket’s surgery. They wrote to FACE desperately requesting help. After working with one of our hospital partners, FACE was able to approve for Cricket to receive her surgery that night. She made an amazing recovery and is back with her loving family!
