Coco is an adorable Shih-Tzu mix who is not even a year old yet. This little guy stole his “dad’s” heart with one wet doggy kiss. One day, poor Coco fell out of bed and yelped in pain after landing on his hip. His concerned dad took him to the vet and they were sure Coco had a fracture but he was going to need x-rays to see how bad the break was. His dad could not afford any diagnostics, let alone the surgery needed to fix his baby. When he reached out to FACE, we were able to refer him to other amazing San Diego organizations that fund vet expenses. Once the vet saw the x-rays and knew exactly what needed to be done to fix Coco, FACE was able to step in and pay for the surgery! None of this would have been possible without the generosity of organizations like the Charles and Ruth Billingsley Foundation with Wells Fargo.
