“Chili” the English Bulldog is the sweetest, cuddliest girl you could ever meet so it is no wonder her “dad” is smitten with her. He makes a modest living with his own welding business and doesn’t need much, just his Chili. One day, poor Chili became very sick and her veterinarian diagnosed her with Pyometra. She needed an emergency surgery or her infection would worsen until her body gave out. Her dad was overcome with emotion because he didn’t know what to do. He didn’t have the money they were asking for and without it he was going to lose his best friend. Fortunately, he reached out to FACE and we were able to approve a grant for Chili’s life-saving treatment.
