Allegro is a handsome older gentleman who was rescued as a kitten by his loving owner Namiko and her mother. Namiko decided to go back to school to get a degree in counseling after the family business closed down, and her mother is now retired. One day, they noticed Allegro straining to urinate… this wasn’t new to them, he had suffered from urethral obstructions before. Unfortunately, this time was too serious to simply catheterize – Allegro would need a Perineal Urethrostomy to save his life. Allegro’s family was devastated. They had no idea how to come up with the funds to pay for their beloved cat’s emergency surgery. Fortunately, their vet ABC San Marco partnered with the FACE Foundation to save Allegro’s life. Now this boy and his loving ladies are enjoying his second chance at life.
