Meet Achilles! This irresistibly adorable Chi-Poo (Chihuahua-Poodle Mix) is loved by his family of four: his “mom” and three “siblings.” Achilles loves to play, and one day when his mom wasn’t watching he somehow broke his little elbow. After rushing him to the vet, she was faced with a tough decision. The surgery Achilles needed to fix his leg was not affordable for her as a single mother, but without it she would have to give him up. Fractures cause way too much pain if left untreated, and the recommended course of action for animals who cannot get fractures fixed is usually euthanasia. Thankfully, her veterinarian referred her to FACE Foundation who was able to help get Achilles the surgery he needed!
