Sparky is an adorable 6 year old Pitbull Terrier who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor.  His veterinarians said he would have a good prognosis with radiation therapy.

Unfortunately, Sparky’s mom and dad were struggling to make ends meet due to employment problems caused by the COVID crisis.  After discussing Sparky’s care with his veterinary oncologist, his family applied for a FACE grant.

FACE works with funding from both the Petco Foundation and Blue Buffalo to help save pets in need of veterinary care, including cancer treatment.  Sparky is now receiving his treatment and is currently doing well.
