This is one of the very last photos taken of her just a couple days before she passed away on Sept 22, 2020. She was a very special dog. I adopted her from Maricopa County animal control in AZ when she was two years old and she lived to the age of 11 1/2. She was poorly socialized as a puppy so always had a bit of fearfulness of others but we still tried to take her many exciting places! She was always much happier with us than having the anxiety of being left behind. Although I’ve had many dogs throughout my life, she was the one who personally helped me “find” my current husband. We were blessed by her in so many ways, and even blessed in the end as she died peacefully in her sleep at home on the comfy guest room bed. – Lana & Family
