“Maple is an 8 year-old rescue dog. I wanted to adopt a loving dog who had issues that might make it hard to get adopted. In addition to her age, she is blind in one eye, has an underbite, and needed dental work. Otherwise she is in good health and a loving, active little dog.

In December, she suddenly developed a blockage of the urethra and required emergency surgery. I could only cover part of the costs of her surgery and would not have been able to go ahead except I was told about the FACE Foundation. They responded quickly to the emergency situation and covered enough of the costs for us to proceed. After a few weeks of recovery, she is now back to normal.
