Check out this heartwarming video originally posted by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.  A 17 year old Syrian boy named Aslan fled his home in war-torn Syria for Greece…taking nothing with him but a backpack and his adorable dog named Rose.

Aslan refused to part with his beloved dog, and took Rose on a (so far) 300 mile journey to seek a better life for both of them.  He insisted on taking Rose across the Mediterranean, even making a “passport” for her.

Aslan will have sweet little Rose by his side as he continues on his journey.
