Meet FACE Success Story “Stella!” This sweetheart is five years old and was rescued two years ago by her loving “mom.” Her mom was formerly a Navy Nurse but had to go inactive to become a full-time grad student. That same week she stopped working, Stella developed a crippling spine disease that, if left untreated, would cause her a lot of pain and she would have to be put to sleep. Her mom was heartbroken. She was living off her financial aid and savings, she had to no way to pay for a thousand dollar surgery all at once. She knew she couldn’t give up on Stella and contacted numerous charities to try to get assistance. Fortunately for Stella, FACE was able to fund her surgery! Stella and her mom were so grateful, they are now regular supporters of FACE and frequently attend FACE events!
