Late into the stages of Starís pregnancy, it became clear that this tiny chihuahua was too small to support the litter of four puppies she was carrying. The puppies were stuck, and Star required an emergency C-section to save them, and her own life as well. FACE rushed in and made sure the mom-to-be was covered for the surgery that day. As a result, all four puppiesóthree girls and one boyówere delivered safely, and Star, who was also spayed during the procedure, made it through just fine.
