Roxy is a lucky terrier mix who was adopted from a rescue by her loving owner only a year before she suffered a serious back injury. This poor pup needed emergency surgery on her spine, or else her owner would be forced to euthanize her. Her owner works full time, is putting herself through college, and supports her elderly mother, who has a number of problems as well. But Roxy’s dedicated ‘mom’ did not give up on her – she created an online fundraising page, and was able to put together quite a bit of funds, but not enough to cover the whole bill. She was devastated at the thought of letting Roxy down…until she found FACE. Luckily, Roxy’s time isn’t up yet, and now this sweet pup is enjoying another chance at life with her mom and ‘fur-sisters.’
