Reno

“Reno” was only 5 months old when he was involved in a car accident and his pelvis was completely broken. Reno’s “parents” were going through a hard time and couldn’t afford any of his treatments. Without the financial support of their friends they would not have been able to get Reno’s x-rays done. Reno’s “dad” had undergone open heart surgery not three weeks before this accident and Reno’s “mom” had stopped working to care for him when he was diagnosed with his chronic heart condition. They were surviving off of Social Security and didn’t know what other options they had besides euthanasia. Luckily, Morena Pet Hospital recognized they would be great candidates for FACE funding and sure enough, they were approved to get assistance for Reno’s fracture repair surgery!
