Meet Peter Pan! This lovable guy was desperate for FACE’s help after he was diagnosed with having IVDD, a disease that was slowly crippling him. Peter Pan’s “mom” is disabled and has been surviving off of financial assistance for years. Her fixed income, along with helping her daughter care for her newborn grandson, prohibited her from being able to pay for the urgent veterinary treatment Peter Pan needed. Without the surgery, Peter Pan was doomed to be paralyzed for the rest of his life, or he would have to be euthanized. His mom refused to give up and was overjoyed to discover that the FACE Foundation existed! After applying for a grant and getting approved, Peter Pan’s mom was beyond relieved to know her boy was going to walk again!
