Papitas

Meet Papitas! This 5 year old male Chihuahua shares a home with his “mom” Isabel. About 4 years ago, Isabel adopted him from her grandson and, as it goes, the rest is history. One day, Isabel came home to find Papitas immobile and in pain. She tried to get him to walk but sadly Papitas let out a painful whimper that told her it was time to head to the vet.

After arriving at the hospital, the doctors determined that Papitas had a dislocated hip and would require surgery to prevent any more damage. Isabel knew Papitas was in desperate need, so she made a call to the team over at FACE. Thankfully, a grant was awarded to Papitas and now this FACE Success Story is back home with his loving “mom.”
