Oliver was adopted 8 months ago and has provided his “mom” with unconditional love and friendship ever since. Recently, his mom noticed Oliver struggling to walk… She took him to Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Marcos, where he was diagnosed with intervertebral disc herniation or IVDD. If left untreated, IVDD causes extreme pain and can lead to paralysis. Oliver’s mom was a nurse at a correctional facility, but during the pandemic, she was laid off.
