Monte

Meet “Monte!” This loveable five-year-old Terrier-mix is adored by his “mom” and “big sister.” One evening, Monte was playing and jumped off the stairs. Soon Monte’s mom noticed he wasn’t putting any weight on his leg so she rushed him to Veterinary Specialty Hospital San Marcos where they found that Monte had a fractured leg. Monte needed an emergency surgery to repair the fracture. Without the surgery, it was possible that Monte might lose his leg! As a single parent, Monte’s mom was unable to afford the surgery. She contacted FACE for assistance and also started a GoFundMe page. FACE was able to help and now Monte’s leg is healing nicely and he’ll soon start playing again with his mom and sister!
