Melody

Melody’s family had been living off their savings while waiting for unemployment benefits to kick in. Due to the COVID crisis, the process to claim unemployment had been longer than normal, leaving the family unprepared for a medical emergency. At what seemed like the worst timing, their beloved cat Melody started showing signs that something was wrong. She started hiding in dark places and showing signs of stomach pain. Concerned, her family rushed her to the vet where x-rays showed that Melody had eaten some string. She needed surgery as soon as possible, but her family could not afford the cost of the care.

Thanks a discount from veterinary partner Rancho del Oro Veterinary Hospital, FACE was able to provide financial assistance so that Melody could get the care she needed to save her life!
