Meeka!

Meet “Meeka!” This pup found her forever home when her human family adopted her from a local rescue. One day, Meeka was unable to move like she normally did so her family took her to the hospital. They were devastated to learn that Meeka was suffering from an acute disc herniation, and would need surgery to prevent terrible pain followed by complete paralysis. Meeka’s family had recently moved to San Diego and with the financial burden of the move, emergency surgery just wasn’t doable for them at the time. Fortunately, in partnership with Veterinary Specialty Hospital FACE was able to help this little girl get a fresh start! Thank you to all of our Save-A-Life Partners for working with FACE!
